The role
As a corporate trainer, you design and deliver training that helps employees do their jobs better, from sales and customer service to leadership or software. You assess needs with managers, run workshops and e-learning sessions, and measure what changed afterwards. You turn company know-how into practical sessions people remember.
Who is hiring
Banks, telecom operators, BPO centres, insurers, hotel groups, training consultancies and NGOs running capacity building programmes hire corporate trainers. Delivery mixes on-site sessions with virtual classes, so many roles are hybrid.
Background and career path
Trainers often come from the field they teach, then add a train-the-trainer certificate or a degree in education or HR. You can grow into learning and development manager or open your own training firm.
