Consumer goods companies, telecoms, distributors and fast-growing startups hire sales representatives, key account managers and digital marketers. Employers value people who know both Nairobi's retail scene and markets outside the capital, in English and Swahili.
As a digital marketing manager, you plan and run the online campaigns that bring in customers. You manage ad budgets on social and search platforms, oversee SEO, email and content, and track conversions in analytics dashboards. You lead a small team or agencies and report results to management.
Banks, fintechs, e-commerce businesses, mobile operators, real estate developers, hotels and consumer brands hire digital marketing managers, as do digital agencies. Roles are often hybrid, and diaspora businesses regularly recruit remote marketers who know African audiences.
