10 questions, about 2 minutes. No job board to scroll: we come to you.
Hotels, wine estates, safari lodges, restaurants and large retail chains hire chefs, front office staff, guides, store managers and beauty therapists. Cape Town and the Garden Route are busy tourism markets, while retail jobs are spread nationwide.
As a hotel receptionist, you welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and manage reservations in the property management system. You take payments, answer calls and emails, and pass requests to housekeeping or maintenance. You are often the first and last person a guest remembers.
Hotels, resorts, guest houses, serviced apartments and business hotels in capital cities all need front desk staff, and international chains value bilingual profiles. The role is on-site and organised in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
